Walkerton Clean Water Legacy Scholarship Fund

Scholarship that supports students in Grey and Bruce wishing to pursue careers in environmental science or clean water management, creating a new legacy from the water tragedy in 2000 that forever changed Walkerton, and our understanding of clean water management. The Walkerton Clean Water Legacy Award honours those who suffered because of the water crisis, and supports the next generation of students embracing environmental stewardship and the protection of clean water.

Requirements

Applicants must

  • be residents of Grey or Bruce Counties
  • Registration in university, college or drinking water operator course for the coming year
