Ontario Clean Water Agency Scholarships

OCWA's scholarships focus on increasing diversity where we see socio-demographic gaps in our workforce. This includes three (3) $2,500 scholarships now available for Indigenous Peoples, Women, and our new scholarship for Underrepresented Groups (women, racialized, persons with disability, LGBTQ2+, Indigenous) in Environmental Studies/Science, Environmental Engineer and/or Trades Field. This scholarship is a financial award that also provides career-building through a co-op work term. We are looking for proactive individuals with high achievement and demonstrated interest in the environmental field or trades, with emphasis on water and wastewater treatment and/or mechanical/electrical etc. Demonstrated interest means that you have previous experience/interest in the environment, water and wastewater field or trades such as a Millwright, Electrician or other applicable skilled trade. Please be advised that this award is not specifically intended for Grey Bruce students, however, it has either been won in the past by a local student and/or the Foundation felt it was a significant resource for post-secondary achievement goals.
