Marjorie & Norman (Mac) Gingrich Scholarship Endowed Fund

Marjorie and Mac Gingrich were both raised in Bruce county and have backgrounds in education and nursing.  In 2013 when Marjorie included Community Foundation Grey Bruce in her will and set up the Marjorie and Norman (Mac) Gingrich Endowed Fund, she decided to support Grey and Bruce students studying medical sciences and research at the post-secondary level. Please Note:  applications may be submitted for each year that the student is attending the science/research course at university. These awards are provided through the Marjorie and Norman (Mac) Gingrich Endowment Fund held by Community Foundation Grey Bruce. The scholarship will be based on course of study or career path as it relates to strengthening the local economies or healthy communities in Bruce and Huron counties.

Requirements

  • Complete the application form on Community Foundation Grey Bruce website
  • Applicant is a resident of Grey or Bruce counties
  • Applicant is registered with a recognized college or university
  • A student graduating from High School in Grey and Bruce counties who have been accepted at University to acquire a BSC in Science/Research
  • A student from Grey and Bruce counties in good standing, in 2nd or 3rd year of University working to acquire a BSC in Science/ Research Program
