Lyle & Isabelle Love Skilled Trades Award

The Lyle & Isabelle Love Skilled Trades Award will support Grey & Bruce female students who pursue the skilled trades as a career and will be applied to the student fees at the college/university/qualified trade school which the chosen applicants will be attending. Also open to those who are working as an apprentice or in the trades that wish to go to trade school. NOTE -  the award is presently available only to female applicants to encourage women to go into careers in skilled trades.  This award is provided through revenue earned from the the Lyle & Isabelle Love Skilled Trades Endowment Fund held by the Community Foundation Grey Bruce.

Requirements

  • Good performance across academic studies
  • Involved in extra curricular activities
  • Demonstrated financial need
