Grey Bruce Health Services Staff Scholarship

This award is available forone male and one female student to each of the Owen Sound secondary schools St. Mary's High School (SMHS) and Owen Sound District Secondary School (OSDSS) who are graduating and show aptitude in both sciences and humanities.

In addition; one award is available for applicants who have a home residence in Grey or Bruce Counties pursuing education in a medical health and sciences program.

The scholarship is for applicants who show a focused dedication and talent for medical health. Those entering an underserviced field will be favored.

*The amount may vary from year to year. Awards are chosen by the faculty of St. Mary's High School (SMHS), and Owen Sound District Secondary School (OSDSS).

Requirements

  • Aptitude in both sciences and humanities
  • Owen Sound students are to check with SMHS and OSDSS regarding eligibility and deadlines to apply
  • Residents of Grey Bruce attending other schools can apply through CFGB
