Georgian Sound Big Band Music Scholarship

This scholarship was created by the Georgian Sound Big Band in 2015 to provide a grant each year to a student from the Georgian Bay area who is graduating high school to study music full-time at a qualifying college or university. 

Eligible students will be graduating from one of the following schools: Owen Sound District Secondary School, St. Mary's High School, Georgian Bay Community School, Collingwood Collegiate Institute, Stayner Collegiate Institute, Our Lady of the Bay Catholic High School.

Applicants will be asked to provide a reference from their music teacher.

More than one scholarship may be awarded.

The scholarships are disbursed from the income earned on an endowed fund held at Community Foundation Grey Bruce.
