George Anderson Endowment Award

The George Anderson Endowment Fund was started by his nieces and nephews in their uncle's memory. This award is through F.E. Madill Secondary School (FEMSS), Wingham, Ontario to a graduating student(s) who reside(s) in Lucknow or the surrounding area. Demonstrated exceptional commitment to the community of Lucknow through volunteer service. Candidates must have exceeded the mandatory 40 hours of volunteer service, required to graduate. If no candidate in the current graduating class meets the criteria, a deserving student from previous or subsequent classes maybe selected, at the discretion of the Awards Committee. This award is provided through the George Anderson Endowment Fund held by the Community Foundation. Amounts may vary from year to year. Please contact your school Guidance Department as this award is chosen by the faculty. The amount may vary from year to year.

  • This award is chosen by the school faculty, and at the school's discretion, it may be split between multiple recipients
