Donna Steinacher Music Scholarship

The Friends of Leith Church and the Georgian Bay Children's Choir award is a scholarship for advanced music studies (generally post-graduate) in the northern Grey-Bruce area, in honour of the well known Owen Sound musician and teacher, Donna Steinacher. The scholarship will generally be presented on an annual basis and will be worth up to five thousand dollars, the exact amount to be determined by a combination of concert ticket sales and donations. Requirements

  • Generally be music students soon to graduate from a baccalaureate level performance program
  • Pursuing further studies at a graduate level
  • From northern Grey Bruce area
  • Participated in the musical life in the Grey Bruce community
