Community Foundation Grey Bruce has a commitment to enrich the quality of life for people of the area by supporting projects of not-for-profit charitable, educational, cultural, recreational and environmental organizations. The Foundation does this by providing grants and scholarships each year, from interest earned the preceding year by the endowed funds held.
As well, the Foundation receives grants from 2 foundations - Hamilton Community Fund for Underprivileged Children and the Donald Cheetham Family Fund at the Strategic Charitable Giving Foundation - which are, in turn included in Community Foundation Grey Bruce granting each year.
