Red & Lorraine Leckie Camp Quality Fund
This fund will support Camp Quality, a camp for children with cancer
Tom Norris Helping the Kids Legacy Fund
A fund to support Children with special needs up to age 19, who reside north
of Highway 21 in Bruce County
R & J Shouldice Fund
Supports Salvation Army, Camp Presqu"ile, Big Brothers Big Sisters Owen Sound,
Participation Lodge and Scenic Order of Good Cheer.
Jean Medley Sweetwater Memorial Fund
This fund was created in meory of Jean Medley who was instumental in the success
of the Sweetwater Music Festival held in the Leith & Owen Sound area each
Autumn. The Fund will ensure financial support for the continuation of the Festival
in the future.
Owen Sound 150th Anniversary Fund
Created form the proceeds of Owen Sound's 150th Anniversary held in 2007, this
Fund provides support for projects that will increase the quality of life for
Owen Sound residents.
GBHS Staff Scholarship Endowment Fund
Staff from the Grey Bruce Regional Health Services established this scholarship
fund in order to encourage and support students who are pursuing medicine as their
career. These students must be in Grade 10 and attending a high school in Owen
Sound.
Y Service Club Fair Trade Leadership Fund
This fund will enhance and support projects by the local Y Service Club to help
Fair Trade producers in third world countries
Bruce Resource Stewardship Network Endowment Fund
Bruce Resource Stewardship Flow-through Fund
The Bruce Resource Stewardship Network has a mission "To encourage actions that
help people value, look after, and improve the land and resources of Bruce County".
This Fund will support their work plan which includes fish and wildlife projects,
trail & boardwalk construction, habitat improvement and educational projects.
As well, this organizations established a flow-through fund to accept donations
for an "Evergreens for Streams" Fund which will see 10 evergreens seedlings planted
along a Bruce County stream for every $15.00 donated.
Marine Heritage Society Chantry Island Endowment Fund
Established in 2008, this Fund's purpose is to provide a vehicle to accept funds
or bequeasts from community residents, buseiness or public donors who wish to
support the Marine Heritage Society in Saugeen Shores in theor ongoing preservation
of the marine tradition, particularily Chantry Island.
Sydenham Agriculture Society Endowed Fund
With a long history supporting the agricultural community in the former Sydenham
Township (now part of the Municipality of Meaford), the Sydenham Agriculture Society
has created a Fund to provide the continuation of the annual Sydenham School Fair,
through agricultual-based educational projects and displays.
Canadian Federation of university Women, Saugeen Club
A Donor Advised fund that provides educational scholarships for post secondary
education for women who are attending high schools in the Hanover, Walkerton and
Chesley areas.
