Grantmaking

Perhaps the easiest of the Community Foundation's roles to understand is that of grantmaker. Not-for-profit organizations across Grey and Bruce Counties welcome grants through Community Foundation Grey Bruce as a possible source for additional funding for their community projects. The money used for granting is income earned from the permanent endowment base which has been invested.

Grants support a diverse range of community needs that include Art and Culture, Children's Interests and Welfare, Education, Health and Wellness and Environmental Issues.
