Donor-Advised

This is a fund that enables ongoing donor participation in the distribution of income from their fund. The donor, or the donor and an advisory committee named by the donor, give the foundation recommendations on distributions from time to time. In all disbursements, the chosen recipient must be a registered charitable organization. The organization is reviewed by the Community Foundation to confirm eligibility. Often the Community Foundation requires that the fund becomes unrestricted upon the donor's death. A donor-advised fund can be set up with a minimum donation of $5,000.

- income to be directed to the Grey Highlands South Grey Museum in Flesherton for ongoing support
Sydenham Agricultural Society

to ensure financial assistance for future projects for the annual Sydenham School Fall Fair

Bayshore Broadcasting Media Scholarship Fund
- a scholarship for students from Grey and Bruce Counties who are pursuing their post-secondary education inthe field of media
