Designated Funds

Designated Funds specify the agency or organization to receive support from the Fund. A Donor can name the group of their choice or the Foundation can manage funds for a specific agency. Funds so designated can be used only for their stated purpose. Should the designated agency cease to exist, a similar cause will receive the funds.

Examples:

Arthur and Betsy Harrison Family Fund
- to provide educational, cultural, social and civic scholarships to high school students at WHSS and OSCVI schools
Grey County Kiwanis Festival of Music Fund
- to support the annual Festival of Music
Summerfolk Endowment Fund
- to support the research, presentation and development of the folk music, folk arts, crafts and folklore as featured at the annual Summerfolk Music and Crafts Festival
